Nice view. We had our own facilities in our RV did not use the bath house so I can't comment on those. The grass was not mowed. Very high weeds around the camper lots. There were no doggy bags in the provided container nor a bag in the trash to place the dog waste in. The beach area was unbelievably disgusting. My children grew up here even before it was a KOA. We haven't ever seen this wonderful campground look so bad. The prices are ok for the view but a little steep to not have sewage. Though they will come pump your tanks out for $10.00 each time. Such a shame for such a wonderful place to have been let go the way it has.

Very clean bathroom & showers. Nice store !!!

There was trash in the swimming area, a lot of trash. We literally saw a tampon in the shallow water as we were getting out. So naturally, we run over to the bathroom to shower off before leaving. The shower inside the bathroom had no handle.... and the whole bathroom was just filthy. I put soap on my hands, then realized there was no running water whatsoever, not even the outside shower. Never again, that place is just nasty.

The staff is very friendly. We have been to this campground the past 3 years. We love staying here because you have access to the water and the view is awesome. The problem is with the facilities, the bath house has usually not been cleaned. Their idea of cleaning is hosing the floor down with water. They never have any soap to wash your hand with either. They also are not very good at enforcing camp ground rules, they have said no four- wheelers but we continue to see them. I am very laid back, and don't cause much of a fuss most of the time but this 4th of July there has been a lot of fireworks being shot. They have said no fireworks. This can be really dangerous for children and a good chance of causing a fire. We called the number to report it and no answer. If it wasn't for us enjoying the view and the water around the camp ground we wouldn't go back.

Made reservations a month in advance and they gave my spot away because someone came with a 50amp camper and booked the wrong spot. So gave my spot to them and assumed I had a 30amp camper. Which I did not. I have a 50amp. So the spot I hand pick was gone. Offered me another spot that I had to use the cabins power connection for my camper. The problem I have is that I spent almost 2 hours trying to figure this problem out and was not offered anything for my troubles. Very unprofessional place. Will give the place one more try being so close and convenient. We give a review on my next visit.

We enjoyed our wonderful raining vacation. So very peaceful. Thank you KOA and Ms Dawn for making us feel welcome
